Varanus storri ocreatus (Storrs monitor)
The Storrs monitor subspecies (Varanus storri ocreatus) is a smaller monitor that can be found across the top end of Australia.
They spend most there time winding through rock piles in search of food and basking in the sun.
In captivity they will require enough ground space to roam, adequate hides and the essential basking spot.
The ideal temperature setting for this species would be a gradient temperature of 28’c – 35’c and a basking temperature of 40’c – 70’c.
